These services are provided throughout the U.S. and its territories to active Army, Reserve, National Guard, and Reserve Officer’s Training Corps (ROTC) units, as well as other DoD and Federal agencies. PULAU’s mission, in support of the ARNG Virtual Training Program focuses on providing technical expertise on training aids, devices, simulators and simulations (TADSS) capabilities. Its purpose is to assist each state and their territory commanders and warrior by facilitating expertise on how to correctly and effectively use training aids and devices. This training prepares the warrior for live fire and deployments. Without it, units meeting OBJ-T and readiness goals would be vastly more difficult and time consuming on the units. Specifically, this mission enhances the ARNGs core strengths. The mission also provides commanders and individual units on TADSS capabilities, facilitates integration into training plans, operator instruction, usage support and operator level maintenance that support individual, crew and collective training objectives – all in support of the ARNG’s goal to generate ready units and soldiers. Without a balanced plan the ARNG would not be able to provide ready units to meet its dual mission of domestic and federal support. They maintain properly trained and equipped units available for prompt mobilization for national emergency, war, or other needs. As new training devices and capabilities are fielded the RTSP provides new equipment training and training on capability updates because the RTSP is key multiplier for the ARNG. PULAU ensures the best training and support is provided by positioning regional senior TADSS instructors and/or operators throughout the nation to assist the ARNG commanders and staff in planning for and executing TADSS usage. PULAU’s regional virtual training program SMEs travel to sites within their assigned regional territory and provide instructor and/or operator services for a wide variety of TADSS and associated training tasks, providing training at 62 CONUS/OCONUS installations! PULAU also provides support to (TSC) Training Support Centers in 13 CONUS locations. PULAU believes the partnership forged between the ARNG and PULAU is a special one has resulted in increased individual and unit readiness and better prepares Warriors for contingency operations.
