Using this technology, it can deploy comparative visual training capabilities using a reduced number or projector channels and, in many cases, a single projector. This can deliver savings on capital costs, personnel training, installation times and post-sale project on costs for maintenance. Its first sales were made in early 2013 and since that date it has made aggregate sales of over £950K, of which over 70% have been made to export markets. It has successfully established its brand and reputation in the military markets. This success has been achieved mainly through sales of its 1.8m panadome, the Cobra 1.8, which has the key differentiating characteristics of • using a single projector • fidelity, presence and clarity of image display • design of ease of use • compatibility with a comprehensive range of projectors • portable • future proofed combined with high quality of manufacture and a proposition of excellent value for money. This is a compact panadome display consisting of a 1.8m diameter screen delivering 150 degree horizontal and 66 degree vertical fields, complete with integral first surface mirror and projector mount. This is shipped with either a HD or a 4K projector depending on the customer’s resolution requirements. The company has adopted a strategy to become a solutions-based provider rather just being a one product supplier in order to optimise its market standing and reputation, recognising its ability to design and manufacture to high quality. A key feature of this approach will be to promote the company`s expertise in delivering optimum channel solutions which minimise the number of projectors required, consequently offering the scope to customers for substantial reductions in the cost of capital equipment and on costs. The essence of this strategy is to provide solutions based around a range of dome sizes. This range will cover the existing 1.8m panadome, and domes of 2.1m, 3.2m, 4m and beyond. The route to market will be either direct to end users, and more increasingly through prime contractors for major programmes.
