Product and Services
Close Air Solutions offer totally customisable Joint Fires simulators to meet customer need at many different levels of fidelity and immersion, and to suit the customers required price-point. Our immersive Close Air Support (iCASS) systems range from desktop based with helmet mounted displays, to full 360 degree immersion for a team of FACs/JTACs in a projection cave or dome, to full Augmented Reality solutions. Our iCASS systems hold the highest level of accreditation in the UK and are equipped with a universal Digitally aided Close Air Support (DaCAS) interface. Full DaCAS message sets can be passed between ‘Air‘ and ‘Land’ facilitating training found in no other system.
Service Based Simulation. Our commercially available iCASS is operated by Close Air Solutions’ White Force in support of military exercises in the UK and Europe. Recently contracted by 1 Artillery Brigade to provide accredited simulation in support of EXERCISE TERMINAL STRIKE 17-1 at RAF Kinloss, CAS is trusted to provide the highest levels of service provision simulation to UK Armed Forces.
CAS Link - CASL has integrated various Digitally Aided Close Air Support (DACAS) and Digital Fires data units into our simulator systems. Teleplan Globe FACNAV has been fully integrated and is in use at JFACTSU, RAF Leeming, UK including: OSR, Freetext, BDA, 9-Line, Digital Clear Hot, Digital Abort, Link 16 Tracks.
US Government’s Android Tactical Assault Kit (ATAK) has been integrated and is in use in CASL commercially operated systems in the UK.
