Product and Services
CESI has been able to institute several key solutions (improvements) on its programs. We are very committed to utilizing our CMMI (ML3) and ISO9001:2015 fully certified processes, our established infrastructure and our mature tool sets to achieve success on our M&S efforts. On LVC-IA, we developed techniques to reduce hardware and software costs through large-scale virtualization. We also implemented an inventory management system that reduced fielding time from weeks to days. On OneSAF, we implemented automated solutions for third-party software integration, baseline builds and software testing. During the award of AVCATT, we developed a comprehensive and repeatable set of process, procedures, and tools that ensured an effective program transition. As a result, the program was successfully transitioned from the incumbent contractor (L-3 Communications) in less than half the time required under the contract – from seven months to three. This complex transition included infrastructure modifications, facility construction, transfer of equipment from Arlington, TX to Orlando, FL, and set up and implementation of all development activities. Within the transition period, the CESI team fully staffed the program; inventoried, catalogued, and transferred all government property; and began fielding activity of the latest AVCATT software versions to user sites. We completed the transition at no cost to the Government and will use this successful strategy on future contract awards.
