Product and Services

HATSOFF is a joint venture between one of the world’s premier Defense and aerospace companies, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) of India, and CAE, a global leader in simulation and integrated training solutions.

The facility offers type rating and recurrent training for Bell 412 and Dauphin operators on a EASA and DGCA approved level D FFS and Level 2 FTD. Training customized for operations in the Indian environment is available for military and civil versions of HAL made Dhruv Helicopter on a DGCA certified Level D FFS. Complete training solutions including all kinds of mission training including NVG, NOE, and weapon delivery training are planned on military glass cockpit variants of the HAL-built military version of Dhruv, which is under development.

HATSOFF has eight multi media class rooms, briefing and debrief rooms with facility to recall recorded simulator sessions on a four screen display.

Commute logistics that would hinder training if trainees were staying in different hotels are avoided by offering stay at the business hotel standard 10 room Air Crew Residence ( ACR) built within the complex, training needs are supported with free internet and study material available on LAN.

HATSOFF is able to offer training in very realistic operational scenarios due to its vast visual data base of three non contiguous areas in VMAP level 1 resolution, with the largest area approx 1500 nm north to south and 500 nm east to west. The visual data base has three airfield in a 1 m resolution, and 9 helipads covering desert, confined, low and medium altitude and lastly snowy and dry very high altitude ( 6 Km ) helipads to cover the gamut of helipad operations in India > IN addition, roof top and oil rig type elevated helipads are also available to support offshore training scenarios.
