Product and Services

Pinnacle Solutions Inc. possesses a broad range of capability in engineering and training development. One of our key areas of expertise is computer-based training and interactive multimedia instruction development for operator and maintainer training. Specifically, Pinnacle has developed multiple Virtual Laboratories for Embry Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU). The Virtual Crash Site Investigation Laboratory and the Aerial Robotics Virtual Laboratory enable their students worldwide to complete courses typically offered to brick and mortar students. Most recently, Pinnacle integrated Virtual Reality into the laboratories, significantly increasing the applicability to ERAU’s students.

In addition, Pinnacle provides simulator device maintenance and training support as well as device upgrades and new system development for all types of simulation products from Full-Flight and High-Fidelity Maintenance trainers to Desktop Training solutions. Currently, Pinnacle is performing a Rehost as part of the KC-10 Training System contract, replacing the current Host computer systems and sub-systems interfaces, as well as the Instructor Operator Station (IOS) computers, with a common standard Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) solution. This effort will improve the overall maintainability of the KC-10 Weapons Systems Trainers (4), Flight Training Devices (2), and Boom Operator Trainers (2), as well as increase the number of hours each device can be used for training each day.

Pinnacle has also developed hybrid training products, including combined hardware/virtual training products for system and subsystem maintenance training as well as the use of Virtual Reality to provide unprecedented immersion and fidelity of training solutions. Pinnacle developed the AN/ARC-231 Virtual Interactive Environment (VIE) for use by US Army Soldiers at Ft. Eustis. This effort integrated an AN/ARC-231(MARS) and C-11476 Digital Intercom System (ICS) into a hardware maintenance trainer supported by a VIE in a classroom environment, networking an IOS with several student stations via Voice over IP.
